About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support control and oversight of project elements, including scheduling, cost management and earned value principles
  • Support program launch and execution
  • Develop initial program baselines
  • Prepare and analyze internal cost report data
  • Manage estimate at completion (EAC) on assigned programs
  • Follow baseline change management processes
  • Ensure cost and schedule integration
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with integrated program teams
  • Apply earned value management knowledge and procedures to programs
  • Perform data analytics using Program Management processes
  • Work independently and as part of a large, diverse team
  • Provide feedback on tools and process efficiencies
  • Participate in organizational initiatives
  • Assist with guiding new Specialists and team members
  • Report directly to the Program Controls Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of experience in business analytics
  • Required to attain CAPM certification within 6 months of start date
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • U.S. person requirement: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or individual with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
  • Degree in Business, Math, Finance or Economics or related field
  • Experience as Program Controls Specialist
  • Experience using SAP
  • Experience in financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management
  • Experience using Earned Value metrics, managing budgets and milestone fidelity
  • Project Management certification
  • Cost reporting experience: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR
  • Integrated Master Schedule experience with Microsoft Project and SSI Tool
