About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create project plans, schedules, and milestones aligned with customer expectations using earned value metrics
Monitor and maintain project plans and milestone adherence to ensure on-time product delivery
Create and monitor work packages for internal suppliers to support technical and schedule adherence
Build internal and external customer relationships throughout projects
Ensure projects remain within cost, quality, and time metrics
Manage requirements, including validation and appropriate allocation
Coordinate and lead design reviews in accordance with HAY procedures
Manage project risks and mitigation plans
Assess and drive achievement of program-specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace
Work on complex aerospace engineering projects across Environmental Control Systems, Hydraulics, and Life Support Systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

HND/HNC/Degree in mechanical engineering/aerospace
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience working within a project engineering environment
Understanding of the engineering lifecycle from product conception to commissioning
Experience using Microsoft Project or a similar project forecasting system
Strong understanding and experience working with suppliers and integrated supply chains
Understanding of how suppliers and integrated supply chains fit into the project lifecycle
