About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within the aerospace domain
  • Assist in developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources for timely and cost-effective completion
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and support project requirements
  • Support risk management and compliance activities according to aerospace industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones while maintaining quality and compliance
  • Report directly to the Senior Engineering Program Manager
  • Contribute to aerospace engineering projects within Engines & Power Systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and engineering processes within aerospace or related industries
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements applicable to engineering projects
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software, including scheduling and documentation platforms to support project tracking and communication
  • Internship or co-op experience in aerospace or high-technology industries
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Systems engineering or requirements management experience
  • Ability to work with little supervision and take initiative
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available
