About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a team of engineers to develop and implement turbomachinery design and analysis strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and establish design goals and metrics
- Provide expert technical guidance on turbomachinery design and analysis principles
- Conduct advanced engineering analysis, testing, and modeling to optimize product performance and reliability
- Identify and mitigate potential design risks throughout the product lifecycle
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to bring innovation to turbomachinery engineering initiatives
- Manage and execute engineering projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and quality completion
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with teams
- Report directly to the Engineering Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Minimum 2 years of experience in turbomachinery design and analysis
- Experience with engineering analysis methods
- Knowledge of turbomachinery design principles, tools, and techniques
- Excellent project management skills to oversee complex turbomachinery engineering initiatives
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment
- U.S. Person status required under U.S. export control laws: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status under asylum or refugee status, or ability to obtain export authorization
