About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage advanced aerospace engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, manufacturing, and quality to resolve complex technical issues and optimize system performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance project execution and engineering processes
- Lead a team of engineers and ensure successful project execution and high-quality solutions
- Contribute to the development and deployment of aerospace power systems for commercial and defense customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 6 years of experience in advanced project engineering within aerospace or related industries
- Strong expertise in auxiliary power units and systems engineering
- Proficiency with project management tools and engineering software relevant to aerospace system design and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects to successful completion
- Experience in aerospace power systems development and testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
- Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a collaborative mindset
- Candidate must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
