About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and success criteria
Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and communication plans
Monitor project progress and performance
Identify and address issues or risks that may impact project delivery
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Promote effective communication and knowledge sharing
Lead a team of engineers
Serve as technical leader and primary decision maker for program cost, schedule, and technical issues
Prioritize work packages, design goals, and objectives
Drive overall program performance
Report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong management operating system that facilitates communication
Ensures that departmental core competencies include continuous PE skill development
Understanding of business objectives and ability to interact with customers
Ability to work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives
Ability to persuade and influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
Business acumen and knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to the discipline and its industry application
Significant experience in engineering
EU or US citizenship due to export restrictions
Effective communication
Creativity and latitude
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to balance demand and capacity when establishing organizational priorities
