About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop control units for Electro-Mechanical Flight Control Actuation systems
- Encompass the complete product design and development life cycle, including system concept development, design, build, qualification, certification, and in-service support
- Develop specifications for controllers and individual hardware and software development teams
- Serve as technical lead coordinating electrical hardware, mechanical, software, test services, safety, and other functional groups
- Coordinate development and prototype/serial manufacture of electrical control units
- Report system design and development status to internal and external customers
- Liaise closely with customers, designers, and suppliers
- Work independently and within a multifunctional team environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Electrical Engineering ideally with mechatronics or computer science
- 4+ years working experience in Systems Engineering role or experience with software or hardware development with interest in developing career in systems engineering domain
- Fluent command of English language
- Self-motivated approach and ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to quickly analyse, incorporate and apply new information and concept within an existing system or process
- Applicants must have EU or US citizenship due to export restrictions
