About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, document, and mature digital transformation standards, processes, methods, and best practices for Requirements Based Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and related digital engineering disciplines
- Partner with Centers of Excellence to help engineering teams adopt and consistently apply digital transformation processes, standards, and tools
- Provide hands-on technical guidance in SysML, CAMEO, requirements management, system modeling, architecture development, requirements decomposition, and traceability
- Support integration of digital engineering practices into requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, and validation lifecycles
- Identify adoption challenges and develop scalable solutions with stakeholders
- Promote integration of CAMEO, DOORS NG, Jira, and related engineering platforms
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, test, safety, and other engineering disciplines
- Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities for consistency, traceability, automation, and reuse
- Help evolve digital transformation practices based on lessons learned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 5-8+ years of experience in systems engineering and MBSE roles
- Hands-on experience with CAMEO Systems Modeler and a strong understanding of SysML
- Working knowledge of requirements tools such as DOORS NG and Jira
- Experience modeling complex system architectures and interfaces
- Familiarity with system engineering processes, V-model, and lifecycle traceability
- Understanding of modular open systems architecture (MOSA) principles
- Familiarity with ARP4754, ARP4761, MIL-STD-881, MIL-STD-882, and system safety frameworks
- Exposure to airworthiness certification or flight test support
- Candidate must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or able to obtain export authorization
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
