About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform General Ledger activities
- Process and check journals according to defined procedures, accounting principles, and legislation
- Perform variance analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts
- Review statements, ledgers, and accounts to identify unusual or overdue items and select procedures to verify or adjust discrepancies or errors
- Assist finance functions with payroll, tax, sales, and/or cost accounting
- Produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management
- Conduct periodic account reconciliations and ledger close activities
- Provide accurate financial data to support management decision-making
- Prepare financial statutory reporting for multiple legal entities
- Complete external financial audits for multiple legal entities
- Work closely with external auditors, including tax auditors, corporate functions, and business finance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in finance or economics, preferably in accounting
- 5 years of experience as a financial auditor or as a key contact to external financial auditors within an international matrix organization
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- US-GAAP or IFRS accounting knowledge
- Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Initiative, positive attitude, self-starter, getting-things-done, and hands-on attitude
- Ongoing or completed ACCA valued
- Excellent proficiency in standard office software
- Experience with standard ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
