Develop and execute annual and strategic procurement plans
Ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business objectives
Lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base and reduce risk
Participate in new supplier search and development
Drive supplier negotiation and contract management
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in the procurement team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies
Improve sourcing processes and performance through effective management operating systems
Communicate and report transition progress to senior leadership
Lead supplier management activities to drive deliveries to need and facilitate recovery solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. person requirement: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
Bachelor/master’s degree in Materials/Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy
15+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
Strong leadership and people management skills
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing procurement strategies
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
Knowledge of sourcing processes and tools, such as SAP and e-sourcing platforms
International experience with exposure to high-growth regions
Cross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing
Bachelor’s Degree / Master's Degree in Supply Chain, or related field
Complex and large project management and/or contract management experience
Professional certifications in project/supply chain/procurement/contract management
Demonstrated business and financial acumen
Experience with SAP, E-Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
