About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage engineering programs to ensure successful execution and delivery
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices
- Typically serve as Project Engineer for one or more Boeing Flight Management Systems programs
- Support employee development, succession planning, retention, engagement, and an inclusive culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 8+ years of experience in engineering program management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership and project management skills with expertise in risk management and problem-solving
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including developing and implementing project plans, monitoring progress, and resource allocation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Candidate must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
