About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead globally across the supply chain network to gather and manage information about business capacity to meet customer demand
- Execute the vision and goals for the Materials Planning function
- Manage people and processes to achieve excellence in SIOP, supply planning, inventory and replenishment planning, and supply chain issue resolution
- Develop and maintain the production schedule to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements
- Monitor production performance and take corrective actions to ensure production targets are met
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time
- Analyze production data and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain management
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (valued/preferred)
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
- Knowledge of ERP systems and their applications in production control
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
