About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide program leadership for development, qualification, and transition to production of advanced Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems for the Defense and Space marketplace
  • Lead and manage programs to ensure successful execution and delivery
  • Lead and manage key proposals
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Employ EVM, SOW, WBS, BOE management, scope and requirements management, scheduling, and cost management
  • Establish and own a programmatic Management Operating System
  • Partner with Program Control team members to review cost and schedule metrics and make data-driven resource decisions
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues affecting project delivery
  • Communicate program management and financial issues across organizational levels, linking performance with financial results and product line strategy
  • Ensure portfolio financial performance to AOP and STRAP
  • Drive IPDS, Flawless Launch, On Time Launch, change control, risk management, baseline management, and scope change control policies
  • Drive Free of Charge Hardware achievement
  • Collaborate with and mentor integrated program teams and onboard new program managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidate must be a U.S. person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering program management
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Proven expertise using Earned Value Management tools and processes to manage complex program schedules and budgets
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, accounting, project management or business
  • Experience with civil and military regulatory authority certification
  • Working knowledge of USG and FAR contracting requirements
  • Requirements Management & Fulfillment, Planning/Estimation
  • Scheduling including resource-loading critical path analysis
  • Expertise in Earned Value Management
  • Cost & Financials (e.g., RDE, spend, forecast, variance)
  • Risk Management, identification and mitigation, and change management
