About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guide and oversee the execution of complex programs
Manage the hardware development lifecycle for the Anthem program across Preliminary Design, Critical Design, Qualification, Certification, and On-Time Launch
Develop and implement hardware reviews and improvement actions
Drive program improvement actions to closure within schedule, budget, and scope
Manage and deliver programs within scope, schedule, and budget
Ensure alignment of programs with strategic objectives
Identify and mitigate program risks and issues
Coordinate program dependencies within the schedule
Work with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure program success
Provide guidance to engineering execution teams to maintain hardware quality
Drive program execution, quality assurance, timely delivery, issue resolution, data accuracy, reporting, cost management, process improvement, compliance, innovation, and program excellence
Report to the Anthem Hardware Program Director

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 6 years of experience in program management or related roles
Strong guiding and team management skills
Ability to obtain and maintain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong insight into program management ethics and methodologies
Experience managing complex customer programs with multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
PMP or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification required, determined by position level and certification experience requirements
Candidates without the required certification must obtain it within six months of hire
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) on development programs
Experience developing, implementing, and executing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
