About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact and representative for complex programs
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, customer satisfaction, timelines, and budget
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Own project budgets, forecast revenue, track costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support financial reporting
- Execute risk, contract, and change management, issue resolution, project controls, and performance monitoring
- Resolve manufacturing and supply base issues preventing hardware delivery and increase manufacturing capacity as needed
- Create and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Use project and program management tools for scheduling, reporting, forecasting, and status tracking
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate technical, operational, and customer-facing stakeholders
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve program outcomes
- Travel 25-30% to meet with clients, stakeholders, and project team sites
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project/program management or related roles
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
- Experience supporting EVMS and IPDS based projects for defense and space customers
- Familiarity with MS Project, Accolade, LEAP, Salesforce, MAT, and AOP/ARR
- Experience working in a matrix organization and managing multiple stakeholders
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and manage tasks with minimum supervision
- Customer satisfaction mindset focused on meeting contractual requirements and maintaining customer relationships
- Ability to travel 25-30%
