About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead advanced test equipment engineering projects from concept through completion
- Ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality
- Drive project success and innovation
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet or exceed project deliverables
- Report directly to the Factory Test Equipment Engineering Manager
- Recruit talent, identify and develop successors, drive retention and engagement, and foster an inclusive culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- 6 or more years of experience in advanced project engineering or related engineering roles within aerospace or a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, engineering design processes, and aerospace industry standards
- Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software such as MS Project and data analysis software
- Experience with risk management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in aerospace projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills and experience
- Candidate must be a U.S. person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Work location is Minneapolis, MN, on a hybrid work schedule
