About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Verify that software correctly implements documented requirements
Ensure compliance with test standards, guidelines, and DO-178 objectives
Perform requirement analysis
Design test strategies
Develop, execute, and debug tests
Conduct requirement and test reviews
Perform formal testing, including RFS and SC
Support certification activities
Support Test Experts in deploying new tools and test methodologies
Provide verification deliverables according to DO-178 and SW V&V CoE processes
Maintain the Test Procedure Handbook
Coordinate with the Pro-Tech group on process and technical improvements
Report program issues to Program Leads
Provide performance metrics to the North America V&V Manager
Provide improvement ideas to the Pro-Tech group
Interface with Program Leads, V&V Manager, Test Experts, Development Team, Pro-Tech Group, and process improvement groups
Report directly to the Sr Software Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
U.S. Person status required: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
Technical skills with emphasis in software development
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science valued
C++ programming
Python programming
Bilingual English/Spanish listed in the skills section
