About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, test, and maintain software for SATCOM and connectivity systems.
- Design and implement software in C/C++, Python, and related technologies.
- Support requirements definition, verification, validation, and certification activities.
- Create and execute software test procedures and reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and processes.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.
- Contribute to solutions that enhance safe and efficient aircraft operations and improve passenger experience.
- Identify and develop new approaches to address business challenges and create value for customers.
- Report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of C or C++ programming.
- Strong command of English.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, learn from feedback, and work independently.
- High integrity and interest in working in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and software development lifecycle.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Familiarity with DO-178 objectives.
- Experience with configuration management tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to Canada, the U.K, or the U.S.
- Due to export restrictions, applicants must have EU citizenship.
