About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and validate airborne/surface navigation systems
- Provide application support
- Develop software code
- Modify requirements and architecture
- Perform formal testing and qualification
- Design, implement, test, and document software, in some cases according to DO-178B/C guidelines
- Develop tools supporting software development processes and validation
- Support implementation into prototyping and product platforms
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define system requirements
- Develop intelligent algorithms and robust software solutions for alternative navigation configurators
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Knowledge of C/C++
- Knowledge of Windows/Unix scripting languages such as Perl and Python
- Interest in Machine Learning development and AI
- English language proficiency at B2–C2 level
- Some experience since graduating from University
- Some experience designing or verifying navigation systems
- Technical writing skills
- Capability and willingness to travel
- EU citizenship required due to export restrictions
- Knowledge of commercial airborne standards including RTCA DO-178B is a plus
- Motivated to develop a career in the aerospace industry in a multinational company
- Team player
- Strong organizational skills and analytical ability
