About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor and assist in maintaining data center and cloud firewalls, proxies, and zero-trust access tools such as Zscaler ZIA/ZPA
Review, process, and implement standard firewall rule changes and service requests
Investigate and resolve basic network access, connectivity, and incident tickets
Help install, configure, and update network security software and hardware components
Keep team runbooks, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures up to date
Handle daily operations for perimeter security services and interdependent servers and infrastructure across global data centers and cloud subscriptions
Assist with proactive problem identification and solution proposals
Handle customer service requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Degree or coursework in IT/Computer Science is a plus
2–3 years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or junior network operations role
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, subnets, routing, and common protocols such as DNS and DHCP
Exposure to or hands-on experience with firewalls, proxy services, or Zscaler/Zero-Trust platforms
Good communication skills
Eagerness to learn perimeter security technologies
