About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and oversee the business analysis and planning function, driving strategic planning and analysis initiatives
- Develop and implement business strategies to optimize operational efficiency and drive growth
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and execute business plans
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership based on datadriven insights
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track business performance and identify areas for improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of business analysis and planning activities
- Lead and develop a highperforming team of business analysts and planners
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior executives and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Recruit talent, develop successors, drive retention and engagement, and foster an inclusive culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial finance or related roles
- Prior experience in a leadership or director-level role
- Proven track record of driving financial performance and achieving business objectives
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office
- Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (valued/preferred)
