About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the annual servicing of the facility, including condition-based servicing and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and submit full job reports
  • Test the Grid Entry Unit to ensure it is safe and functioning correctly before sign-off
  • Provide hands-on training and knowledge to new users/operators
  • Investigate issues to identify faults and perform system analysis, carrying out replacements as required
  • Engage with clients to understand issues, make observations, suggest improvements, and provide recommendations
  • Meet customers’ needs via remote support as part of an on-call rota
  • Travel countrywide across the UK with occasional overnight stays
  • Perform maintenance and commissioning of predominantly Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at client sites
  • Work on projects involving new installations at required sites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience within industrial servicing or controls systems
  • Solid analytical/problem solving skills and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written
  • Gas industry experience or HND/HNC level qualifications
  • Good team player with a willingness to learn
  • Experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries would be advantageous
