About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to Government Relations leadership
- Coordinate government affairs projects
- Develop, review, and maintain government relations fact sheets, one-pagers, and advocacy materials
- Gather and validate data with business contacts, HR, communications, and Government Relations team members
- Organize U.S. state and country-specific reporting and coordinate updates with internal partners
- Maintain project trackers, stakeholder maps, and internal reference tools
- Support planning and execution of Government Relations events and external engagements
- Track invitations and attendance and prepare briefing materials, thank-you notes, and follow-up communications
- Prepare briefing materials, shell memos, outreach drafts, and correspondence for senior leader engagements and policymaker meetings
- Track legislative and regulatory issues, summarize bill language, coordinate feedback, and support policy recommendation development
- Draft internal Government Relations newsletter content and coordinate approvals and publication
- Organize SharePoint content, onboarding resources, SOPs, and checklist materials
- Coordinate across Government Relations, HR, communications, legal, business units, consultants, and external affairs partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of private or public sector experience in government relations, public affairs, public policy, legislative affairs, political campaigns, corporate affairs, communications, project coordination, or a related field
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience supporting government affairs, public policy, legislative tracking, stakeholder engagement, or corporate communications
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, track deadlines, organize information, and coordinate across stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills, including drafting summaries, emails, briefing materials, reports, or newsletters
- Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information across data sources, team inputs, and reviewer feedback
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and maintain organized project files, trackers, and supporting documents
- Familiarity with federal, state, or international policy processes and ability to summarize complex topics clearly
- Experience coordinating events, briefings, external engagements, or executive meeting preparation
- Experience maintaining trackers, SharePoint folders, stakeholder lists, or internal operating procedures
- Ability to take initiative, follow up with stakeholders, and keep projects moving across a matrixed team environment
- Global and cultural awareness, adaptability across jurisdictions and time zones, and ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
