About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead installation, maintenance, and repair activities for Building Automation Systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex BAS issues to ensure continuous operation and compliance with safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to provide technical expertise and ensure seamless integration of BAS solutions
- Conduct system testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance to verify proper operation and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all field service activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 or more years of experience in field service roles involving Building Automation Systems
- Strong technical expertise in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BAS integrated systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and regulatory codes related to BAS systems
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, fire protection, building automation, or related fields
- Experience leading field service teams and managing complex BAS and fire safety projects
- Experience with Honeywell XLS4000, Honeywell Self-Test, and related life safety services
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards and experience ensuring compliance
- Experience in fire system installation
- NICET certification is highly valued
- Experience with Tridium NIAGRA platform is valued
