About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather requirements by working with business stakeholders to understand order management processes, challenges, and requirements
Design SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, and SAP BRIM order management solutions using industry best practices
Configure and customize SAP Order Management, including pricing, availability, order types, delivery, and billing
Collaborate with integration teams to connect SAP Order Management with SAP Sales, Logistics, Finance, and external systems
Create functional specifications, EDI mapping documents, and data conversion rules
Design, develop, implement, configure, and support EDI solutions for sales and distribution processes
Develop and execute test scripts
Train end users on new processes and functionalities
Create user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials
Provide ongoing support and maintenance, including troubleshooting, patching, and enhancements
Identify process improvement and optimization opportunities using SAP S/4 HANA features
Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure successful delivery
Report directly to the Sr. Director, IT

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years as an SAP consultant specializing in Order Management, focused on SAP S/4 HANA and BRIM (SOM, CI)
In-depth knowledge of the SAP Order Management module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4 HANA implementation projects, including full lifecycle implementations and system conversions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Strong knowledge of business processes
Knowledge of Agile implementation methodology
Experience with integration between MM, FI, and WM
SAP S/4HANA and BRIM configuration experience
