About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage multiple complex AI, software, and engineering programs from initiation through delivery
  • Drive execution and alignment across a large, global engineering organization, including 10+ Agile/Scrum teams
  • Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables with business, product, and engineering stakeholders
  • Develop and manage program plans, timelines, budgets, resources, and dependencies
  • Identify and proactively manage program risks, issues, cross-team dependencies, and resource constraints
  • Lead and coordinate global vendors and external engineering partners on scope, deliverables, quality, and commitments
  • Partner with Engineering, AI, Product Management, UX, and business teams to align business priorities with technology execution
  • Develop program dashboards, reports, and leadership updates covering progress, risks, financials, and required decisions
  • Drive resource and capacity planning, budget management, and forecasting
  • Build stakeholder relationships and communicate with technical teams and senior business leaders
  • Adapt to changing priorities and bring structure to complex or ambiguous situations
  • Report directly to the Sr. Director of Engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or related roles
  • Proven track record delivering $10M+ large-scale engineering/software programs on time and within ±5% of the approved budget
  • Experience leading execution across 10+ Agile/Scrum engineering teams and coordinating 30+ engineers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong program leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience resolving critical dependencies and risks and maintaining delivery against committed milestones
  • Experience managing resource plans, budgets, forecasts, and program risks across portfolios of $5M+, including headcount planning and quarterly financial forecasting
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams across 3+ time zones and managing external engineering partners/vendors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting program status, risks, dependencies, and financials to technical teams and senior business leadership
  • Proficiency with program/project management tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software-development practices, including roadmap planning, sprint execution, dependency tracking, risk management, and KPI reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field required
  • U.S. Person status: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status under U.S. asylum or refugee status, or ability to obtain export authorization
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • MBA preferred
  • PMP certification is a plus
