Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in advanced mechanical systems
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, methodologies, and materials science
  • Proficiency in advanced CAD software such as Pro/Engineer/Creo
  • Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools
  • Experience designing complex mechanical assemblies and components with a focus on reliability and manufacturability
  • Candidate must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
  • Advanced degrees such as a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related fields are valued
  • Experience in high-technology/sensor design sectors is valued
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product validation techniques is valued
