About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies according to project requirements and industry standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical specifications and ensure seamless integration with other systems
Perform mechanical analysis and testing to validate design performance and reliability
Support the creation of advanced electro-mechanical solutions
Report directly to the Sr Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
2+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
2+ years of strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies
2+ years of proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or PTC Creo
Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools
2+ years of experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and mechanical testing
U.S. person status required: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience with product lifecycle management and design for manufacturability
Experience in Aerospace or related sectors
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experience with electro-mechanical sensor design and GD&T
