About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Project Controls functions for the India Project Management Centre
- Support scheduling and cost control through project tracking, analysis, forecasting, and reporting
- Apply Project Controls policies and procedures consistently across assigned projects
- Collect and report historical data and provide summary-level analysis
- Implement standard Project Controls toolsets and work processes across India Operations
- Implement project scheduling standards, templates, and model plans
- Set up project schedules, track and report progress, highlight deviations, and propose recovery plans
- Set up cost-control tools and monitor project earned value and productivity
- Assist with project timesheet coordination and management
- Support project review, control, and reporting processes
- Support planning, scheduling, cost control, monthly project reviews, audits, Workbook/DCI setup, and CORA tool updates
- Perform monthly reviews, project gating reviews, and audits
- Coordinate internal project reviews and prepare monthly project reports
- Track project cost and schedule variations and support change management
- Attend internal project meetings and customer meetings
- Work with Program Managers, Contract Managers, and Operations Managers to implement Project Controls work processes, data structures, and technology
Requirements
What you’ll need- Possess a tertiary qualification in Engineering / Technology / Finance
- Project Management Institute Certified Professionals preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management and Control
- Experience setting up, maintaining, and updating project schedules using Primavera P6
- Experience with schedule analysis, including Critical Path and look-ahead plans
- Experience in project financing, including budget-versus-actual monitoring, cost analysis, Risk & Opportunity tracking, and unbilled analysis
- Experience in SAP environment using PS Module, FICO Module, and SAP T-Codes is an advantage
- Extensive experience in Risk Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Primavera Scheduling, and MS Office
- Knowledge of cost risk analysis and change management
- Familiarity with SAP applications or equivalent business systems
- Knowledge of earned value, progress, and productivity measurement
- Knowledge of project controls analysis, planning, and integrated scheduling
- Familiarity with global project management, project controls, and project engineering methodologies and tools
- Good English oral and written communication skills
- Presentation, analysis, leadership, and team management skills
