About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Sales Support and estimation functions to front-end Sales Offices and Account Managers globally for IMC
- Own proposal estimation deliveries for the Field Instruments portfolio
- Interact with Sales to establish proposal requirements
- Develop and use estimating templates, processes, and tools such as CPQ, Salesforce, and SAP
- Follow required workflows and team processes
- Consolidate and maintain the proposal log
- Manage assigned tasks in a team environment
- Take responsibility for proposal submissions for parts, products, and project inquiries globally
- Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers, Sourcing Team, sales/account managers, and the global estimating team
- Prepare proposals using customer specifications and requirements to maximize value demonstration
- Select appropriate hardware, software, equipment, materials, and services
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and handle technical queries and responses
- Provide cost-related information using CPQ
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS or BA or BE degree – Preferred in: Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Oil&Gas, Technology (or equivalent knowledge / experience in the field)
- 2-3 years of experience in industrial sales/sales support for Field Instrumentation
- Experience supporting customers/end users in multiple verticals and networking with OEMS, EPCs and consultants
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas market
- Knowledge of Field Instrumentation products and measurement principles: Level, Temperature, Pressure, Flow and other process instruments
- Knowledge of products and solutions in industrial automation
- Understanding of customers’ business, decision making and buying processes
- Exceptional knowledge of internal sales processes and systems
- Understanding of Honeywell’s value proposition
- Experience and knowledge of customers’ businesses and drivers
- Proficiency with computer-based business software/automation tools
- Understanding of major competition and product features and functionalities
- Microsoft Office tools
- CRM tools such as SAP and Salesforce
- Fluent in English
