Key responsibilities & impact

Advance Honeywell’s strategy to use AI across all functions and business units
Collaborate with executive leadership to define the overall AI strategy and roadmap
Develop and execute the organization’s AI strategy to maximize revenue growth and profitability
Identify business needs with stakeholders and deliver AI solutions
Drive an outstanding user experience for AI solutions
Oversee solution lifecycles to drive adoption, effectiveness, and monetary impact
Oversee, mentor, and develop AI engineering teams
Translate business needs into requirements and lead complex analytics and governance solutions
Convert business goals into technical product specifications with subject matter experts, data scientists, and data groups
Define multigenerational product plans for rapid value generation and sustainable competitive advantage
Lead and oversee a portfolio of AI projects amid changing requirements, capabilities, and technology
Develop and drive AI education, communication, and training programs
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure AI initiative success and impact
Drive projects forward in a highly matrixed organization with corporate teams and other organizations
Report directly to the Sr Director of IT

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of relevant experience in Data analytics, AI, or related technical activities
6+ years of experience with or understanding of AI tools such as MS Azure, OpenAI, Vertex, AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, or equivalent
Strong leadership and management skills, including ability to lead cross-functional teams
Ability to work in an agile development environment
Experience with or understanding of predictive models, AI/ML, and generative AI
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with large-scale data analytics and governance initiatives
Experience combining GenAI building blocks, including prompting techniques, agentic frameworks, RAG, data science, data engineering, and limited software development fundamentals
Technical experience in SQL, T/SQL, NoSQL programming, and database objects
Experience in technical product or project/program management focused on adoption and business impact
Demonstrated record of on-time and on-budget delivery
Critical thinking and understanding of business processes, technology, systems, and tools
Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness; end-user experience mindset; ability to work independently
