About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee capabilities and customer experiences
- Set up structured quarterly training schedules within the assigned region
- Attend relevant train-the-trainer programs
- Maintain records of trained participants and contact details in the MYHBU LMS platform
- Coordinate regular training updates with engineering and offering management
- Liaise with sales, offering, and technical support to address training demands and provide current information
- Maintain proficiency in company products and ensure support materials, demonstration equipment, and test equipment are maintained
- Verify and test new products and software releases before release
- Update training programs for the latest product lines in alignment with the Entry into Service GDM
- Engage key customers through sales to identify training needs and review requirements
- Work with internal teams including Technical Support, Training Development, Engineering, Apprentices, Sales, and Marketing & Offering Teams
- Manage training costs within budget
- Travel approximately 30% of the time across Europe
- Achieve a full year-round training schedule, 95% ISAT, 95% CSAT, and departmental annual G&O objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical Degree in electrical / electronic engineering or similar discipline
- 5 years working experience as a trainer, technical support engineer or technician in Building Management Systems (BMS)
- 5 years or more experience in the installation, configuration, and programming of Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Electrical or Electronics Engineering background
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems
- English and French language requirements
- Software / PC programming experience desirable
- Experience with Honeywell Building Automation products or HBS brands (EBI, Temaline, DVM, CPO, Niagara) is a strong plus
- Saia Burgess Controls (SBC), Centraline by Honeywell, and Niagara experience beneficial
- Highly organised and structured approach; skilled at asking questions and listening to attendee feedback
- Customer- and solution-oriented approach
- Pro-active team player focused on quality and right-first-time delivery
