About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the Americas VE/CE Team process engineering team
- Deliver yearly Value Engineering and Component Engineering targets for the GBE
- Expand key product margins
- Assess and benchmark end-to-end processes through value stream mapping
- Identify efficiency opportunities through automation, digitization, simulation, process re-engineering, and optimization across design-to-delivery processes
- Drive cross-functional and business alignment with factories to improve productivity and expand product margins
- Drive change and maturity across processes
- Deliver, baseline, and measure success on strategic initiatives
- Lead high-performing engineers and coach leaders to ensure a strong succession plan
- Develop training plans for TRR and People Competency Development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree (Bachelor /Master)
- 10+ years of experience managing, ideating and executing Value Engineering and Component Engineering projects
- Solid knowledge of PMC and/or HGAS product portfolio
- Experience in an industrial environment of a large global organization
- Exceptional change, process, data and analytics skills
- Solid knowledge of specific product and process technologies or broad knowledge of multiple processes and systems
- Experience in hardware as well as software
- 10+ years of experience in a business aligned to Honeywell relevance (HBT, SPS, AERO, HPS)
- DFSS Green Belt
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Capacity to drive change and common processes, standards, tools, metrics, and organizational capabilities globally
- Strong oral and written executive presentation skills and ability to work in a matrix organization
- Ability to convey information clearly across diverse global teams
- Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing entry- to senior-level professionals
- Proven track record of leading teams to successful delivery
- Ability to work with little supervision and take initiative
