About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform first-level review and disposition of Sanctioned Party List screening alerts generated through SAP GTS and related compliance tools
  • Conduct due diligence on potential matches involving customers, suppliers, consignees, end-users, forwarding agents, and other transaction parties
  • Differentiate false positives from potential compliance concerns using established procedures and risk-based assessment criteria
  • Escalate confirmed or elevated-risk matches to the Sanctions Compliance Team
  • Maintain documentation and audit records for screening activities and determinations
  • Monitor screening queues and resolve compliance holds promptly
  • Review and manage SPL, embargo, legal control, and export compliance blocks in SAP GTS
  • Investigate and resolve transaction holds affecting orders, deliveries, purchase orders, and shipments
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather information for hold releases and compliance determinations
  • Verify GTS data accuracy and support correction of master data issues
  • Assist with system testing, process improvements, and user acceptance activities for GTS enhancements
  • Serve as a point of contact for business users regarding alerts, export holds, and compliance inquiries
  • Coordinate with Export Compliance, Sanctions Compliance, Logistics, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams
  • Support audits through documentation retrieval and compliance evidence preparation
  • Monitor screening trends and operational metrics to identify improvements
  • Assist with training materials, job aids, and process documentation
  • Support process standardization, automation, and efficiency initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Export Compliance, Trade Compliance, Global Trade Services, Logistics Compliance, or related areas
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with SAP GTS or similar trade compliance platforms
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing sanctions screening, restricted party screening, or export transaction reviews
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC) and international sanctions programs
  • Experience supporting global sanctions compliance programs
  • Familiarity with denied party screening, embargo reviews, and export licensing concepts
  • Experience working in a multinational manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or technology environment
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP integration with SAP GTS
  • Experience supporting compliance audits and investigations
  • Candidate must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or be able to obtain export authorization
