About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and manage NPI programs for the Connected Industrials business, including scope, milestones, budget, dependencies, risks, change impacts, governance, reporting, cost management, capitalization, delivery, and operational readiness
- Drive implementation and delivery of program outcomes aligned with business problems, customer needs, quality requirements, and data/security requirements
- Build and maintain detailed program plans covering schedule, scope, cost, and risk mitigation
- Track progress, success metrics, and realization across on-time, on-cost, on-scope, on-quality, and user satisfaction measures
- Engage functional stakeholders across sales, customer support, customer success, marketing, finance, engineering operations, digital operations, and other functions
- Manage change-management and communication processes for impacted stakeholders
- Align organizational processes with program objectives and obtain stakeholder support
- Identify and assess program risks and execute mitigation plans
- Coordinate external resources, including contracted services, subject-matter experts, licenses, and infrastructure
- Track and report program health and outcomes using dashboards and drive corrective actions
- Conduct root-cause analysis for major deviations and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Participate in annual product-development budget planning, product roadmap definition and communication, software capitalization, and product-development effectiveness initiatives
- Report directly to the Director of Engineering Program Management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience leading complex product-development, NPI, and product-enhancement programs in a matrix environment
- 4+ years' experience building integrated program plans covering milestones, scope, cost, resource needs, dependencies, risk mitigation, quality, and operational readiness
- 4+ years' experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, product management, sales, customer support, marketing, finance, operations, data, security, and compliance
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, and Confluence
- Familiarity with Product Security, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud, and SaaS software
- Experience with end-to-end program ownership across scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, governance, change control, operational readiness, and executive reporting
- Experience leading enterprise-scale NPI and product-development programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and workstreams
- Experience establishing governance cadences, facilitating steering committees, managing change control, and communicating program status to executives
- Experience managing external resources, including contracted services, subject-matter experts, licenses, and infrastructure
- Experience using dashboards and key performance indicators to track program health, outcomes, and benefits realization
- Experience driving root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
- Experience supporting annual product-development budgeting, roadmap definition and communication, software capitalization, and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Ability to operate across functions, countries, and cultural boundaries
