About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead 3–4 concurrent global new product introduction programs
  • Oversee integrated hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical product development using Agile methodology
  • Develop and maintain project release roadmaps, schedules, and budgets using MS Project or Smartsheet
  • Ensure delivery within defined scope, cost, and time targets
  • Direct multidisciplinary cross-functional engineering and operations teams of 10–15+ members across multiple sites
  • Define program scope and manage change control, including stakeholder negotiations on contracts and scope variations
  • Drive commercialization success against revenue, cost, and business objectives
  • Identify and mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
  • Coordinate with integrated supply chain and manufacturing teams for production readiness and design transfer
  • Report program status, milestones, risks, and financial performance to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell product development processes, tools, and continuous improvement practices
  • Collaborate with commercial teams and engage customers when required to align technical execution with business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, or engineering
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience managing complex engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of product development experience with hardware/software integrated products and global development teams
  • Strong knowledge of engineering product development principles and project management methodologies
  • Proficiency with MS Project, including ability to create and maintain complex schedules, project plans, and project updates
  • PMP Certification valued
  • 5+ years of product development or project management experience with hardware/software integrated products and global development teams valued
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt certification valued
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external customers at all organizational levels
  • Ability to effectively lead, manage, and energize cross-functional teams across multiple sites
  • Ability to assess unclear, complex, and ambiguous situations and provide clear, timely direction
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status holder in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or someone able to obtain export authorization
