About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage EOL component obsolescence and more than $1.1B annual end revenue protection for PA EMS Supply Partners
- Work with EMS partners and stakeholders on life cycle component management
- Report and manage supplier notifications on current and future EOL components
- Proactively review CBOMs for obsolescence and EOL notifications using available tools
- Manage Last Time Buys and obtain approvals according to policy procedures
- Negotiate Last Time Buy pricing with suppliers to achieve the best available costs
- Address PCN EOL notifications through Last Time Buys and redesign
- Liaise with stakeholders on quantities, run-out dates, project prioritization, redesign, and optimal supply, inventory, and cost outcomes
- Execute work in a controlled manner with reporting in Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and other available tools
- Report directly to the Director Strategic Sourcing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, supply chain, procurement or equivalent with 8+ years of experience
- Extensive knowledge in global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement
- Master's degree preferred
- CIPS and/or CPM or equivalent certification desired
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
- Previous experience in global high-mix manufacturing EMS business, highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage / lead multiple projects and changing priorities
- Ability to work with, manage and influence all levels of Leadership
- Ability to make data-driven decisions
- Good IT skills - Microsoft Office, SAP, Ariba, etc.
