About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and C#
  • Build and deploy AI-enabled, cloud-native applications
  • Integrate AI/ML models and Generative AI services, such as OpenAI API and Cognitive Services, into enterprise applications
  • Develop and optimize LLM-based applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
  • Develop microservices architectures and enable AI-powered workflows across distributed systems
  • Build and manage data pipelines to support AI model inference and retrieval
  • Implement prompt engineering techniques and orchestrate LLM-based applications
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability, including AI workloads
  • Troubleshoot production issues, including AI system behavior and model integration issues
  • Report directly to the Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 0-1 year of software engineering, AI/ML, research, internship, or equivalent project experience
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience/intern on AI-powered systems, including Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, Cognitive Services, or similar AI platforms
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Python, C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API
  • Minimum of 1 year experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with SQL Server / NoSQL databases
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s in engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • Work with PostgreSQL, pgvector, and Vector Databases to support AI-driven applications
  • Basic knowledge of ML concepts, including NLP, Vector DB, and model evaluation
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
