About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
  • Develop microservices architectures and integrate with distributed systems
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile ceremonies
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support system improvements
  • Lead advanced software development projects and enhance and maintain critical software components
  • Report directly to the Sr SW Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and development of software solutions
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • Experience with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
  • Exposure to security best practices, including OAuth2, Azure AD, and managed identities
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Application Insights and Log Analytics
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
  • Domain knowledge in connected systems and IoT
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes is nice to have
