About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain SAP S/4HANA reporting solutions supporting supply planning, inventory management, material availability, and planning execution
- Design, build, and enhance S/4 reporting dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analytical reports used by planning, operations, and leadership teams
- Develop S4-based reporting to support supply planning and execution
- Develop and maintain analytics dashboards and reports to support supply planning decision-making
- Analyze supply planning data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics to align supply planning analytics with business objectives
- Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to optimize supply planning processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and process enhancements
- Support roadmap for AI initiatives and implementation
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data quality issues that could lead to MRP failures or supply chain disruptions
- Provide ongoing support and training to stakeholders on analytics practices and tools
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Report directly to the Materials Management Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in supply chain analytics or supply planning analytics
- 2+ years of experience transforming SAP S/4HANA planning data into actionable business insights through SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Fiori Reporting, Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, and advanced visualization tools
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven experience in supply chain processes
- Strong understanding of MRP systems and data management principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of supply planning processes and inventory management principles
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Supply Chain Certifications such as CSCP / CPIM / CPSM / Lean Six Sigma
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
- Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques including predictive modeling and machine learning
