About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and configure pre-event and live betting offerings, including odds-setting policies and live betting management
Expand the betting catalogue by creating and settling specific odds
Test the integration of new markets with the data provider and technology teams
Curate operators’ homepages to highlight popular sports, competitions, and bets
Identify anomalies, including pricing errors, fraud attempts, and delays in live events
Review the largest payouts and verify their legitimacy
Adjust stake limits across a broad range of sports and competitions
Analyze bettors’ habits and preferences
Monitor competitors’ offerings, odds-setting policies, and promotions
Engage with clients to adapt the offering to their needs
Document and track platform enhancement requirements from development through production release
Work as part of a four-person Trading team and collaborate with the technology, marketing, design, and leadership teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Initial experience with betting data providers such as Betradar, BetGenius, BetConstruct, or LSports, or experience in the sports betting industry
Basic knowledge of betting concepts, including margin, value, closing line, odds estimation, stake limits, and market analysis
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Ability to remain focused and composed under pressure
Passion for sports and in-depth knowledge of several disciplines, including football (soccer)
Proactive mindset and ability to suggest product improvements
Enjoyment of collaborative work with the Trading, technology, marketing, design, and leadership teams
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets, including pivot tables and formulas
Availability for irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Good written and spoken English
