About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide onsite technical support, including hardware setup, network connectivity, conference room/AV equipment, and printer/peripheral troubleshooting
  • Resolve help desk tickets and requests covering hardware, software, account access, and ticketing-system queue management
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment provisioning, account setup, and device retrieval
  • Administer routine identity and access tasks such as password resets, MFA support, and access requests
  • Support endpoint management tasks including imaging, patch verification, and asset tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of tickets, assets, and resolutions for reporting and audit needs
  • Follow runbooks and knowledge-base articles for common issues and flag content gaps
  • Escalate unresolved or high-impact issues with troubleshooting context
  • Partner with Security and IT Engineering on device compliance and access control practices
  • Provide hands-on remote technical support for East Coast-based employees and the broader distributed workforce

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Foundational experience in IT support, help desk, or end-user services
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or IT operations
  • Working knowledge of MacOS and/or Windows
  • Working knowledge of standard enterprise collaboration software
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical employees
  • Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent requests with minimal direction
  • Sound judgment about resolving issues independently versus escalating them
  • Curiosity and willingness to question the norm
  • Familiarity with Jira or Jira Service Management
  • Experience managing identity in Okta, Entra, or similar platforms
  • Experience using Jamf, Iru, or Intune
  • Expertise in Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
  • Experience supporting hybrid or distributed workforces preferred
  • Experience with onboarding/offboarding or endpoint management processes
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or similar are advantageous
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity companies is advantageous
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
