About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and own the multi-year integrated procurement and supply chain strategy
- Build, mentor, and lead the integrated procurement and supply chain organization
- Oversee Sourcing & Procurement, Purchasing, Logistics, and Supply Planning leaders
- Serve as executive-level contact for strategic supplier relationships
- Represent Procurement and Supply Chain in senior leadership forums
- Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
- Define and track procurement and supply chain KPIs
- Establish and govern a preferred supplier network
- Lead executive-level negotiations covering turnkey, directed buy, and tolling models
- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing, environmental, regulatory, Hourglass, and Unilever standards
- Provide executive oversight of MRP, logistics, inventory management, and S&OP processes
- Oversee global logistics and optimize freight costs and transportation modes
- Ensure accurate landed-cost application, freight/customs invoice processing, and Transfer Order management in NetSuite ERP
- Lead S&OP coordination with Demand Planning, Finance, Sales, and Marketing
- Own total cost of goods strategy and deliver cost savings and margin optimization
- Partner with Finance on COGS forecasting, inventory projections, budget planning, and scenario modeling
- Design supplier performance management and risk mitigation frameworks
- Lead supplier Quarterly Business Reviews and resolve supply disruptions
- Champion process improvements and support new product launch planning
- Partner with Quality on vendor governance and escalated issue resolution
- Collaborate with Legal on supplier agreements, NDAs, and commercial contracts
- Take ownership of ad-hoc projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience in the Health & Beauty or consumer products industry
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated track record of building and scaling organizations across sourcing/procurement and end-to-end supply chain functions
- Deep expertise in global supplier management, contract negotiation, and commercial strategy for finished goods and packaging
- Proven experience overseeing demand planning, supply planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Experience with Open Book costing, Should-Cost modeling, and total cost of ownership frameworks
- Deep experience with MRP/ERP systems; Oracle Planning Cloud (OPC) and NetSuite experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to influence and communicate at the executive and board level
- Strong financial acumen with experience owning COGS strategy and budget accountability
- Experience navigating a matrixed, multinational organization; Unilever or similar CPG/prestige environment a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Experience with international freight forwarding and logistics operations
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
