About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Bid out and manage all contracts
Submit invoices and track project budgets
Work with Field Managers to ensure contractors perform work per contract
Negotiate the lowest cost possible and source newer products to lower costs and improve renovation quality and aesthetic appeal
Partner with senior management to determine spec levels
Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets for each renovation job
Manage, train, and fire general contractors and subcontractors
Recruit new contractors and vendor relationships through networking and cold calls
Ensure contractors are properly registered before starting jobs

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder and remodeling company
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Understanding of and ability to speak some Spanish (nice to have)
