About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ongoing account management and renewal for the existing portfolio
  • Manage relationships with key decision makers within partnerships
  • Manage relationships with external service providers
  • Exceed annual targets
  • Engage regularly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Hold quarterly MI meetings with each partner
  • Travel to partner meetings
  • Attend client promotional events
  • Connect with existing clients to understand and address renewal and mid-term adjustment needs
  • Find appropriate coverages, offer competitive pricing, and provide outstanding service to clients and colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working knowledge of all the main classes of general insurance
  • Working knowledge of the CII’s Code of Ethics and GDPR
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market
  • Experience within the Charity or Not for Profit sector advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand people, build rapport, and adapt communication styles
  • Ability to exceed individual targets and deadlines
  • Multi-tasking and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Quick assessment and effective workload prioritisation
  • Ability to manage own diary and work to tight deadlines accurately
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Cert CII advantageous or progressing towards the qualification
