About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage ongoing accounts and renewals for the existing portfolio
  • Manage relationships with key decision makers within partnerships
  • Manage relationships with external service providers
  • Exceed annual targets
  • Engage regularly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Hold quarterly MI meetings with each partner
  • Travel to partner meetings and attend client promotional events
  • Connect with existing clients to understand and address renewal and mid-term adjustment needs
  • Identify appropriate coverages and provide competitive pricing
  • Provide outstanding service to clients and colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing specialist advice in the insurance market
  • Working knowledge of the main classes of general insurance
  • Working knowledge of the CII’s Code of Ethics and GDPR
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand people, build rapport, and adapt communication styles
  • Ability to exceed individual targets and deadlines
  • Multi-tasking and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to assess quickly and prioritise workload effectively
  • Ability to manage own diary and work accurately to tight deadlines
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Cert CII advantageous or progressing towards the qualification
  • Experience within the Charity or Not for Profit sector advantageous but not essential
