About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of personal lines and private client accounts throughout the policy lifecycle
  • Coordinate new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and remarketing activity
  • Review client exposures, coverage, policy terms, limits, deductibles, and exclusions
  • Prepare renewal materials, coverage summaries, proposals, applications, and client-facing documentation
  • Obtain and compare quotes and coverage options from insurance markets
  • Process policy changes, certificates, evidence of insurance, billing inquiries, and other service requests
  • Monitor open items, renewal milestones, carrier requirements, and client deliverables
  • Build and maintain client relationships and deliver consistent service
  • Partner with producers, underwriters, carrier representatives, and internal colleagues on retention and account growth
  • Maintain accurate client, policy, activity, and documentation records
  • Track renewal status, service items, marketing activity, and account risks
  • Support book reviews, stewardship activities, retention initiatives, process improvements, and team projects
  • Ensure account activity complies with company policies, insurance laws, regulations, privacy, data security, and record-retention requirements
  • Stay informed about carrier appetite, coverage developments, market conditions, and regulatory changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience managing or servicing personal lines, private client, or high-value personal insurance accounts within a brokerage or agency environment
  • Working knowledge of personal insurance products, policy forms, coverage concepts, carrier processes, renewals, endorsements, and account documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow policies, procedures, documentation standards, and compliance requirements
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, including explaining insurance information in a client-friendly manner
  • Ability to collaborate with producers, carrier partners, and colleagues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and agency management systems
  • Active Property & Casualty license, or ability to obtain one within the required timeframe, preferred
