About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with developers and data scientists to develop, test, and deploy AI models
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training
- Conduct exploratory data analysis of business and manufacturing process data
- Assess technology and select appropriate AI solutions for use cases
- Research recent advancements in AI/ML and provide insights to the team and leadership
- Write and maintain documentation of models, experiments, and code
- Collaborate with supervisors, business units, and resource unit leaders
- Participate in IT projects involving new systems, information technologies, and information solutions
- Support and enhance existing systems and information technologies
- Consult with global business customers and user groups to gather requirements and feedback
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and identify key deliverables
- Work hands-on with Python, OCI, and Azure
- Follow departmental processes and produce required documentation
- Work independently, directly with customers, and within work groups
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or another related IT field
- Expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Demonstrated internship, work, research, or extracurricular participation
- Involved with at least 1 extracurricular activity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Employment eligibility verification required at hire
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Previous internship in Information Technology with a global employer preferred
- Aptitude for problem solving preferred
- Project experience with security tools or procedures preferred
- Previous report writing experience preferred
- Ability to manage projects and work within a team in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Leadership and strong decision-making skills preferred
