About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide monthly, weekly, daily or ad-hoc reports to internal customers in the Shared Services organization and various Howmet business locations globally
Support special projects, reporting, analysis and process improvements
Assist in integrating non-Oracle locations, such as SAP locations, into the Howmet reporting system
Assist customers and peer organizations with improving existing and developing new queries and reports using Discoverer, SQL and manual methods
Create, review and maintain process descriptions
Comply with corporate audit requirements
Maintain and document knowledge for automated reports
Manage customer requests in the US time zone
Implement checkpoints and controls on reports and automation initiatives to maintain high quality
Run regular reports by downloading data, manipulating report content and providing final output
Provide reporting consultancy, including revamping complex reports, automating reports and developing new reports
Streamline and automate processes and reports using the existing knowledge base and toolset

Requirements

What you’ll need

University or College degree
Experience with MS Excel, Access, Word, other office software, application databases and SQL
Communication skills (writing and speaking)
Fluent English
Logical and analytical mind
Word processing and typing skills
Willingness to partially work afternoon shifts (1 week per month)
Experience in Management Reporting (preferred)
VBA or other programming language skills (preferred)
Ability to evaluate and resolve problems by setting priorities and adapt quickly to new situations (preferred)
