About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial leadership, controllership, and strategic business support for the division and headquarters organization
  • Lead division controllership activities and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
  • Review consolidated financial results, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, reserves, and key financial metrics
  • Provide oversight and guidance to site Controllers and finance teams
  • Serve as Controller for the headquarters organization, overseeing operating expenses, functional budgets, accruals, headcount, and cost centers
  • Lead annual planning, forecasting, and long-range planning activities
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Partner on capital investments, productivity initiatives, restructuring activities, and other strategic priorities
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, company policies, and internal control standards
  • Lead internal and external audit activities and resolve identified issues
  • Oversee working capital, including inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash performance
  • Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance professionals
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the BU President and senior leadership team
  • Create, structure, and drive strategy with the divisional lead team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including significant experience in controllership, financial reporting, planning, or operational finance
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within a complex, multi-site organization
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business performance management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with and influence senior leaders
  • Ability to lawfully obtain access to export-controlled items
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or similarly complex environment preferred
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant professional certification preferred
  • Experience with Oracle or other large ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred
